Know all men by these presents, that we Sally Deputy and James Deputy of the County of Sussex, in the State of Delaware, and Charles & Sylvester Deputy of the same County, yeomen are held and firmly bound unto the State of Delaware aforesaid, in the sum of Five Hundred Pounds of lawful Money of said State, to be paid for the use of the same: to which Payment, well and truly to be made and done, We bind ourselves, our and each of our Heirs, Executors and Administrators, jointly, and severally firmly by these presents. Sealed with our Sales, and dated the First day of March, One thousand Seven hundred and Ninety-seven.
[Followed by the usual conditions and responsibilities of delivering on the bond back to the court by 1 March 1798.]
